No experience is necessary to take a Horse Riding Cairns Day Tour. There is a range of horses suitable for all levels of experience. There is a short training and familiarisation course which everyone must complete before beginning the trail ride. Only the highest standard of equipment used and we recently invested in the best stirrup in existence to reduce the risk of getting caught in the stirrup iron, that is the 'Saferider' safety stirrup (pictured right) which has a highly engineered quick release mechanism used by professionals and recreation riders alike.

Our horses are well treated and maintained, have a friendly nature and will be matched to each rider's experience and ability.

Breathtaking Ride
Ride through beautiful bushland and rainforest, pausing at spectacular lookouts with panoramic views of the ocean, islands, beaches and surrounding hinterland.
A few choice cantering spots will let you feel the wind in your hair.
Post Ride Refreshments
Return to Blazing Saddles stables and sit down to light refreshments prepared by our special catering staff with international experience.

Our ATV's (All terrain vehicles) are very well maintained They are powerful enough to let you feel the acceleration and grunt They are ultra manoeuvrable and as safe as possible.

The ATV Ride
It is both exciting and has great views. There are a few water traps and hill climbs to negotiate. You will be first trained and then examined to see if you can handle the power, then we let you loose on the trail!
There is a smaller bike option for people not comfortable with the larger quad bikes.
Post Ride Refreshments
Return to Blazing Saddles home base and sit down to light refreshments prepared by our special catering staff with international experience.
Safety Equipment
We require you to wear a safety helmet and you must have shoes (not sandals) just in case.

Bring shoes and sensible bush clothes to minimise scratches.

Full Day Combo Tours - Horse & ATV Rides A fantastic morning horse ride through rainforest and Australian native forest.
