Rates & Itinerary
 

You will arrive at Cairns International airport the day before the trip, where you will be transferred to your choice of accommodation where your reservation has been placed. An early breakfast and a 10 minute taxi ride back to the airport, for a 7 AM "WHEELS UP" in either a Ac500 twin engine Aero commander, or Ac690 twin turbine Aero commander (your choice, the latter is faster and bigger). This will be your personal aircraft for the two and a half, or one hour and fifty minute scenic flight over the spectacular Great Barrier Reef and the tropical rain forests of far North Queensland.

Landing at Higgens field built by the Americans in World War Two, on the very northern most point of Australia. You will be met by Greg Bethune and transferred directly to the Capricorn Mist, moored to the pier at Seisia, for an immediate departure to the fish rich waters of the Gulf of Carpentaria; your home for the next 8 days.
